WordPress website design, built to be yours
Custom WordPress websites for Malaysian SMEs. Full admin access, hosting freedom, real Google rankings — no proprietary platform lock-in.
The stack in every build — and why not the popular alternative
The same five layers on every site, chosen for speed, rankings and the fact that any WordPress developer on Earth can service it.
Theme and editor
GeneratePress (under 30KB — most "premium" themes ship 300KB+ you will never use) and native Gutenberg. No Elementor, no Divi: page builders add 300–800 ms to every load.
SEO foundation
Yoast SEO Premium handling meta tags, schema markup, sitemaps, breadcrumbs and redirects — the plumbing real rankings sit on.
Speed, engineered
Every image WebP, sized and lazy-loaded; pages pre-generated by cache; two font families maximum; hosts with Singapore/Malaysia servers — a US server adds 200 ms+ to every round trip.
Security hardening, eight measures
Wordfence firewall, login rate-limiting and non-default admin URL, daily off-site backups, file-permission lockdown, tested updates, SSL with HSTS, config hardening, uptime alerts — because "WordPress gets hacked" really means "unmaintained WordPress gets hacked".
Same fixed packages — WordPress is the engineering, not an upcharge
This page is not a separate product. Every Starter and Business website we sell is a WordPress build to the standard described here — RM1,488 and RM2,888, identical to the published price list. Vendors who price “WordPress” as a premium line item are charging you for the name of free software.
Brief on Monday. Live in 10 days.
Brief & quote
One WhatsApp call. You get a fixed quote with everything itemised.
Day 0 — quote in 24hDesign approval
We design your homepage first. You approve before we build further.
Day 1–3Build & content
Full site built on WordPress, content handled — questionnaire-based on Starter, written for you from Business tier.
Day 4–8Launch & handover
Live on your domain, with admin access and everything in your name.
Day 9–10This is really about you — not websites
You've already paid for a website once.
Maybe it was a builder subscription that added up, a vendor who vanished with the passwords, or a platform that held your site hostage at renewal time. You're not new to this — you're back, warier and smarter, determined not to repeat it.
→Fool me twice — no thanks.
The frustrating part isn't the money. It's that you did the responsible thing — got a website — and ended up with less control than before you started. Now every vendor's promise sounds the same, and you can't tell the honest ones from the polished ones.
→Choose the architecture that can't trap you.
WordPress is open-source: your files, your database, portable to any host, serviceable by any developer on Earth. We build on it precisely because it makes us replaceable — and vendors who make themselves replaceable are the only ones you can trust with the keys.

WordPress our way vs Wix and Squarespace
The question every Malaysian SME asks before the first call. Custom-coded sites are the third option — full ownership if you receive the source code, but realistically only the original developer can service them.
| Criterion | Wix / Squarespace | WordPress, our way |
|---|---|---|
| True ownership | None — cancel the subscription and the site ceases | Full — files and database portable anywhere |
| Real cost over 3 years | RM60–150/month forever = RM2,160–5,400 | Build once + roughly RM300/year domain and hosting |
| Who can service it | Only the platform itself | Any WordPress developer on Earth — millions of them |
| SEO and ecommerce ceiling | Adequate for basics; ceilings appear, plus platform transaction cuts | High — full control, gateway fees only |
| Failure mode | Price hike or feature removal — nothing you can do | Neglect — fixable by anyone |
Plugin discipline: ten plugins maximum, sitewide. Every build ships with the same handover pack — admin access, hosting credentials, a written inventory of every account you own.
WordPress questions, answered straight
Short answers first. The longer ones are what we would tell you on the first call anyway.
Why WordPress and not Wix or a website builder?
Builders are easy to start and hard to leave — your site lives on their servers, under their pricing, forever. WordPress is open-source: your files, your database, your hosting choice. If you ever want to move hosts or agencies, everything comes with you.
Is WordPress good for SEO?
Excellent — with the right setup. Clean URLs, full control of meta tags and schema, fast themes and proper heading structure. Every site we build ships with the SEO foundation in place; ongoing ranking work is our SEO Malaysia service.
Will I be able to edit the website myself?
Yes. We build with the native WordPress editor (no bloated page builders), so editing text, photos and prices is genuinely simple. Every project includes a handover walkthrough.
Isn't WordPress insecure?
Unmaintained WordPress is insecure — like an unserviced car. We harden every build (firewall, login protection, daily backups) and our care plans keep core and plugins updated so vulnerabilities get patched fast.
Can you fix or redesign my existing WordPress site?
Yes — rescue jobs are common. We audit what's there, keep what works, rebuild what doesn't, and put ownership and access properly in your name.
Can you move my site off Wix, Squarespace or a yearly-fee platform?
Yes — content, images and rankings migrate with page-by-page redirects, the domain goes into your name, and the RM300 migration credit applies against any package. The result is a site any WordPress developer on Earth can service.
What do I need to provide?
Your logo, any photos, and half an hour of answers on the brief call; the copy is written from a structured interview. If you have an existing site we pull the useful content from it and tell you what to drop.
Can I add pages and edit content myself later?
Yes. Native Gutenberg, no page-builder lock-in, and a recorded training session on launch day. Adding a page, changing prices or swapping a photo is a five-minute job you own.
Why do you build every website on WordPress?
We build on WordPress because it is open-source and portable, so no one can hold your website hostage. Not a platform, not a vendor, not even us. WordPress runs more than 40% of all websites on the internet.
| Website builders / rented platforms | WordPress (our builds) | |
|---|---|---|
| Where your site lives | Their servers only | Any hosting you choose |
| Monthly platform fee | Forever | None |
| If you switch vendors | Rebuild from zero | New vendor takes over the same site |
| SEO control | Limited by the platform | Full — meta, schema, speed, structure |
What a WordPress build from us includes
- Lightweight, fast theme: no bloated page builders; Core Web Vitals targets met on launch.
- Native editor setup: editing pages is as simple as writing a document.
- Security hardening: firewall, login protection, daily backups.
- SEO foundation: clean structure, meta tags, schema markup, Search Console.
- Full handover: admin credentials, hosting access, and a walkthrough session.
Selling products? The same ownership logic powers our WooCommerce ecommerce builds.
What exactly happens in my training session?
Your training session is a recorded 45–60 minute screen-share on the final day, and you keep the recording. The agenda:
- Minutes 0–10, the tour: logging in, what each dashboard menu does, and which areas to leave alone.
- Minutes 10–30, everyday edits: changing page text, swapping a photo (with the size guideline that keeps the site fast), updating prices, menus or opening hours, adding a testimonial.
- Minutes 30–40, publishing something new: creating a news post from the template we leave behind, where it appears, and how it looks on mobile.
- Minutes 40–50, the safety rails: where daily backups live and how to reach them, what the security plugin's emails mean, and who to message if something looks wrong.
- Minutes 50–60, your questions.
You also keep a one-page cheat sheet PDF of common tasks. Most clients' admin staff are self-sufficient on edits within a week.
